Happy 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution!!

Pretoria, Descember 31, 2020.- Cuba says goodbye to a year of big challenges, which put under test the Revolution's potential to overcome difficulties.

As we celebrate this January 1, 2021, the 62nd anniversary of the Triumph of the glorious Cuban Revolution, we ratify that, despite the criminal blockade unilaterally imposed on our people by the United States government, Cuba will continue to advance with the invincible force that the unity, the daily effort, and the commitment of the Cuban people to defend our conquests until the last consequences.

Condolences mesagge on the passing of cde. David Sipunzi, Secretary Seneral of NUM

Pretoria, December 29, 2021.-  The Embassy of Cuba has learnt with great sorrow the sudden passing away of Comrade David Sipunzi, Secretary General of the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM), who was also Vicepresident of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) and member of the Presidential Council of WFTU.

Cuba loses a fgreat riend. Cde. David was a strong supporter of the Cuban workers in the historic fight against the criminal and illegal blockade imposed by the US government to our people for more than 60 years.

Cuban ambassador meets with Cuban doctors in the Kingdom of Eswatini

Pretoria, December 28, 2020- On the occasion of his working visit to the Kingdom of Eswatini, Cuban Ambassador Rodolfo Benítez Verson held an extensive exchange in the town of Manzini with members of the Henry Reeve Medical Brigade deployed in that African nation since last month of August.

The members of the Brigade related their experiences in supporting Eswatini's national efforts to face the COVID19 pandemic and in caring for other diseases

Fraternal meeting between the Minister of Health of Lesotho and the Cuban Ambassador

Maseru, December 20, 2020- The Minister of Health of the Kingdom of Lesotho, Hon. Motlatsi Maquelepo, received the Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, in the capital city Maseru.

Minister Maquelepo thanked, on behalf of his people and government, the excellent work carried out by the Cuban Medical Brigade in Lesotho, currently made up of 14 doctors with extensive experience, the vast majority of who have already completed several internationalist missions in different continents.

Ambassador of Cuba visits the National University of Lesotho

Pretoria, December 17, 2021.- The Ambassador of Cuba to the Kingdom of Lesotho, Rodolfo Benítez Verson, made a working visit to the National University of that country.

At that center of high studies, he held a productive working meeting with its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kananelo E. Mosit, in which other senior officials of the University also participated, including the Registrar Liteboho Maqalika Lerotholi; the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prof. Mohaeka Raselimo and the Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Makomosela Qhobela.
