More than seven million people in Cuba receive an anti-COVID-19 booster dose
Havana, Jun 3 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP) reported Friday that some seven million 275,031 people have received anti-COVID-19 booster doses.
Of these, 324,090 are part of the clinical study, and 6,950,941 belong to the booster vaccination applied to the population of selected territories and at-risk groups.
Regulations on travel and remittances to Cuba do not change the essence of the blockade
Havana, June 9 (RHC)-- The publication on Thursday of new regulations on U.S. travel and remittances to Cuba do not constitute a significant change in the essence of the U.S. economic, financial and commercial blockade against the Caribbean island.
Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla, tweeted that the regulations on the measures announced on May 16 by the U.S. administration on Cuba confirm their extremely limited character and that the full enforcement of the economic blockade and that the most aggressive aspects of Trump's measures remain in place.

On May 11, 1994, in what was considered one of the first foreign policy acts of the South African democratic government, Presidents Nelson Mandela and Fidel Castro formalized ties that really dated back to the 1960s, when the first anti-apartheid fighters went to Cuba to study, receive medical care and military training.
