Pretoria, February 18, 2020.- President of the Pan-African Parliament recognizes the work of the Cuban government for a more just society

The president of the Pan-African Parliament, Mr. Roger Nkodo Dang, on an official visit to Cuba, held a working meeting with Cuban parliamentarians in the Havana Capitol.

Upon his arrival at the headquarters of the national Parliament, he was received by José LuisToledo, president of the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs of this Cuban legislative body.

Cuban singer wins the Grammy for the best tropical music album

Pretoria, February 12, 2020.-The Cuban singer, pianist and composer Aymée Nuviola, with her album "A JourneyThrough Cuban Music", won the Grammy for best tropical music album during the 62nd awards ceremony. This award from the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences of the United States was shared with singer Marc Anthony.
It is worth noting that Cuban musicians have traditionally dominated this category, although the prize has occasionally been awarded to artists from Puerto Rico, Spain and the United States.
