The United States continues to tighten the blockade against Cuba during the COVID-19 pandemic
Pretoria, March 19, 2020.- While most of the world is creating ties of cooperation and solidarity to face the COVID-19 pandemic, the United States government continues to reinforce the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed against Cuba for not bowing to the political and economic imperatives of Washington.
Cuba guarantees the production of 22 medicines to face COVID-19
Pretoria, March 18, 2020.- Although at the moment there is no specific preventive vaccine or treatment in the world for the new SARS CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes Covid-19 disease, the Cuban pharmaceutical industry guarantees the production of drugs that have been tested and are highly effective, such as the case of Recombinant Human Interferon Alpha 2B, in addition to another group of medications, which are part of the protocol to care for patients with this disease and any complications that may arise.
