Cuban victory at Bay of Pigs celebrated in South Africa

Pretoria, April 18, 2024.- Members of the diplomatic corps from several nations accredited to South Africa celebrated the Victory of Bay of Pigs in 1961, when the people of Cuba defeated a US-organised mercenary invasion. In attendance were, among others, civilian and military representatives from South Africa, Russia, Vietnam, Nigeria, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

University of Cienfuegos and UNISA advocate for strengthening cooperation

Orquídea Urquiola Sánchez, signed a memorandum of understanding with Prof. Puleng LenkaBula, vicechancellor and principal from the University of South Africa (UNISA), in the framework of the  the XII Conference on Teacher Education and Interdisciplinary Research.

Cuban Ambassador to South Africa participates in the Launch of Freedom Month

Pretoria, April 09, 2024.- The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, participated in the Launch of Freedom Month, organised by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture and chaired by the South African ministers, Zizi Kodwa, for this sector, and Khumbudzo Ntshavheni, minister in the Presidency.

International caravan against the US blockade of Cuba

Havana, 31 March 2024 - Another day of support to Cuba took place today, last Sunday of the month, where several countries developed the international caravan against the US blockade of Cuba. "International caravan this Sunday, 31 March 2024! In Miami! Caravan for the end of the sanctions that suffocate the Cuban family!", says Carlos Lazo on social media.
