Cuban Ambassador is received by the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis

Basseterre, January 16, 2026—On Thursday afternoon, the Honorable Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, received Giuvel Orozco Ortega, Cuba's ambassador to the Caribbean island, at the Government Headquarters.

During the cordial meeting, they discussed the good state of bilateral relations and the bonds of brotherhood that unite both natios, as well as the willingness to continue expanding exchanges and cooperative relations in areas of mutual interest.

On December 10, coinciding with Human Rights Day, Ambassador Giuvel Orozco Ortega attended the Fireside Chat event with the Right Honorable Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis, where he addressed the topic of “Foreign policy as a strategic asset for national transformation.”
