The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz and the President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz - Canel Bermúdez sent messages of congratulations to Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves on the occasion of his re-election as Prime Minister of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and the victory of his Party in the recent elections.

Kingstown, November 5th. A resounding victory was achieved by the ULP Party of Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves by winning the general elections of this November 5, 2020 over the NDP, winning in 9 of the 15 constituencies in the country.
In announcing the victory, the Prime Minister said: "Today, the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines embraced the policy of Raising St. Vincent and the Grenadines Higher. They embraced our progressive agenda for the future by returning us to government.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz - Canel sent a message of congratulations to the people and government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on the occasion of the 41st anniversary of their independence. In the letter, addressed to Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, the Cuban leader expressed his willingness to continue deepening the excellent ties of friendship that unite both peoples.

Kingstown, August 14. The Cuban Embassy in St. Vincent and the Grenadines hosted a tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of his birth. The simple and moving activity was attended by members of the Cuban Solidarity Movement in the Caribbean island and Venezuelan diplomatic brothers accredited to the country.
