CUBAN AMBASSADOR RECEIVED BY DIRECTOR OF SEARCHLIGHT NEWSPAPER
The Cuban Ambassador in St. Vincent and the Grenadines made an official visit to the headquarters of the Searchlight newspaper in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Director of the newspaper, Claire Keizer, expressed her condolences for the human and material losses caused by Hurricane Irma as it passed through Cuba.

On the occasion of the loss of lives and the damage caused by Hurricane Irma on Cuba, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines expressed, on behalf of its Government and people, a message of its solidarity and empathy with the Government and the Cuban people in this difficult period. In the document, the Ministry transmits to the relatives of the victims, its deepest condolences while pointing out its confidence that the strength and resilience that characterize the Cuban people, serve to comfort their pain in these moments of loss.
PRESIDENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF FRIENDSHIP SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINAS-CUBA, SENDS MESSAGE OF SOLIDARITY AND CONDOLENCES TO THE GOVERNMENT AND PEOPLE OF CUBA FOR HUMAN AND MATERIAL LOSSES CAUSED BY THE PASSAGE OF THE HURRICANE IRMA
The President of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Association, Renwick Rose, sent a message to the Cuban Embassy in Kingstown expressing the solidarity of the members of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines-Cuba Friendship Society with the Government and the people of the Republic of Cuba in the hours of pain and suffering caused by the ravages of Hurricane Irma. In his message, the President of the Association regrets the loss of human lives and expresses his deep grief at the difficulties that the Cuban people are facing at the moment.
