Dear brothers,

We have spent difficult days listening to the news about the monster Irma that has affected several sister islands in the Caribbean, and it is even more difficult when death touches us so close.

We can never be resigned to the loss of human lives. To the relatives of those who died during the hurricane we want to express our deepest condolences. Know that we accompany you in your pain and may you find in your hearts peace and comfort at this time.

THE CONTEST IS OPEN FOR THE CATEGORIES:
 
CHILDREN: UP TO 16 YEARS
 
ADULTS: 17 YEARS AND OVER.
 
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GENRES OF NARRATIVE, POETRY AND DRAWING, BOTH IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH.

IN REMEMBRANCE OF THE LEADER OF THE CUBAN REVOLUTION, COMMANDER IN CHIEF FIDEL CASTRO RUZ, THE EMBASSY OF CUBA AND THE ASSOCIATION OF CUBAN RESIDENTS IN ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, PRESENT THE CONTEST:  “DEAR FIDEL”

THE CONTEST IS OPEN FOR THE CATEGORIES:

CHILDREN: UP TO 16 YEARS

ADULTS: 17 YEARS AND OVER.

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GENRES OF NARRATIVE, POETRY AND DRAWING, BOTH IN SPANISH AND ENGLISH.

THE TEXTS WILL HAVE A MAXIMUM LENGTH OF TWO PAGES (FORMAT A-4) AND DRAWINGS ARE ACCEPTED IN ANY TECHNIQUE AND DIMENSION.

The Ambassador of Cuba was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Of Health, Wellness and Environment of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received by the Permanent Secretary of Health, Welfare and Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines at the headquarters of the Ministry.

During the fraternal meeting, the parties reviewed the progress of collaboration between the two countries in the field of health.

Cuthbert Knight emphasized Cuba's enormous aid to San Vicente over all these years, despite the criminal blockade of which it continues to be a victim.

CUBAN EMBASSY OFERED A FAREWELL TO A NEW GROUP OF VINCENTIAN YOUNG PEOPLE, BENEFICIATED WITH STUDY GRANTS IN THE LARGEST ISLAND OF THE GREATER ANTILLES

The Cuban Embassy offered a farewell activity to a new group of Vincentian youths, benefiting from scholarships, granted by the Cuban Government from the 2017-2018 academic year.

These young people, who will study medicine, health technology and computing, travel with the firm commitment to prepare themselves as highly qualified professionals to serve their country and their compatriots in the spirit of humanism, altruism and responsibility.

This commitment was adopted before their parents and other relatives, present at the meeting.
