CUBAN CHILDREN, RESIDENTS IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES, PARTICIPATED IN COMMEMORATION OF THE 140TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PROTEST OF BARAGUÁ.

The Cuban children, residents of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, participated with their parents, Embassy officials, collaborators and Vincentian personalities, in commemorating the 140th anniversary of the Baraguá Protest, one of the essential pages of the country's history, which defines many of the distinctive features of the Cuban nation: rebelliousness, firmness, courage and fidelity to principles.

Invited by the Embassy of Venezuela to the activity in tribute to President Hugo Chávez Frías on the fifth anniversary of his physical disappearance, the Ambassador of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, highlighted the enormous contribution of the eternal Commander to the theory and the practice of the emancipation of man and the unity of the peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.

OUTSTANDING VINCENTIAN SINGER HYDEN BILLINGY PROMOTES CULTURAL PROJECT BETWEEN CUBA AND SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, received the outstanding Vincentian performer Hayden Billingy, who is immersed in the preparation of an exchange project between Cuban and Vincentian musicians, as part of the process of understanding and mutual knowledge between the cultures and sounds of both countries.
