PRIME MINISTER OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES OPENS MODERN MEDICAL AND DIAGNOSTIC CENTER, FRUIT OF THE CUBAN-VICENTIAN COLLABORATION
The inauguration of the modern Medical and Diagnostic Center of Georgetown became a massive act of solidarity and friendship with Cuba, in which hundreds of inhabitants of the second Vincentian city, joined Governor-General Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves and his Government to celebrate the opening of the magnificent facility, built on the initiative of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, and with the project, technical advice, medical equipment and medical personnel, secured by Cuba.

Nadine Agard-Juillerat, Deputy Executive Director of the Investment Agency of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, "Invest-SVG", is already in Santiago de Cuba to participate in the Caribbean Business Forum, to be held in that city, from June 28 to 29.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, which participated with its companies in the 2016 and 2017 editions of the International Fair of Havana (FIHAV), intends to expand its presence in the great Cuban trade fair event this year.

The parties talked about the Vincentian media space, as well as the origins, the path it has taken and the high number of readers achieved by the young digital edition, both inside and outside the country.

After almost two decades of successful collaboration in the field of health, Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are working on updating the bases of cooperation in this important area, with the spur of recent arrival of a significant number of Cuban health professionals, who will work in the Modern Medical Center (CDI) of Georgetown with their Vincentian colleagues.
