Cuba in St. Vincent and the Grenadines

CUBAN AMBASSADOR RECEIVED BY FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER OF SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES

The Cuban Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, was received in audience by Sir Louis Straker, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Regional Integration of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to bilateral relations, especially cooperation, collaboration of the two countries within the framework of regional and universal organizations and the participation of San Vicente in events to be held in Cuba, during the next months.

SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES IN FAVOUR OF THE STRENGTHENING OF THE CATTLE PRODUCTION WITH THE TECHNICAL CUBAN ASSISTANCE.

Cuba's Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, received Hon. Saboto Caesar Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and his Advisor Philemon Allen on May 24th, at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission.

During the talks the Vincentian Minister thanked Cuba for the technical assistance given last year, 2015, in the field of artificial insemination, as a result of which were born several dozen calves on Vincentian farms.

THE WORK TIES OF THE EMBASSY, THE CUBAN MEDICAL BRIGADE AND THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN SAINT VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES REINFORCE

 On the occasion of the change of the head of the Cuban medical Brigade in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, the Ambassador Vilma Reyes organized, at the headquarters of the diplomatic mission, a work lunch with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Environment of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the outgoing head of the Medical Brigade, BSC Dr. Clara Elsie González and the new head of the Medical Brigade, Dr. Hilda Ponce.
