CUBA IS THE DEMONSTRATION THAT A BETTER WORLD IS POSSIBLE
Cuba's Ambassador to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Vilma Reyes Valdespino, received at the headquarters of the mission, the former Vincentian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Michael Browne, Member of the Association of Saint Vincent -Cuba solidarity Group.
After address aspects relating to the excellent links between the two countries and peoples, Michael Browne thanked the solidarity of Cuba towards their Vincentian brothers and those of the Caribbean, despite the limitations and difficulties that the U.S blockade imposes on them.

he Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines was received by Mr. Hans King, the Director of the Office of information of the Prime Minister and spokesman of the head of Government.
The parties discussed issues related to bilateral ties, the relations of cooperation, as well as aspects relating to the support of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the Cuban battle for the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba.

40th ANNIVERSARY OF TERRORIST CARNAGE IN CARIBBEAN
Thursday, October 6, 2016 marks the 40th anniversary of one of the biggest man-made human tragedy in the modern history of the Caribbean. Forty years ago, long before our peaceful region got accustomed to the dreaded word “terrorism” or the heinous deeds of terrorists, 68 young Caribbean citizens, mostly from Cuba (57) but also from Guyana (11), were among the 73 persons aboard a Cuban plane, CU 455, which was blown up just after it took off from Barbados.

During the meeting, the parties agreed in favor of the strengthening of the cooperation and the coordination of actions between Cuba and Saint Vincent in the spheres of the culture, the sport and the tourism, as much as bilateral as in regional.
