By congratulating the Irish people and government on the occasion of St. Patrick's Day, the Cuban Foreign Ministry expresses the will to continue strengthening the ties of friendship and cooperation between both countries.

Dublin, Ireland, November 22, 2023. The President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Cuba with Ireland, Fernando González Llord, sent a fraternal greeting to the Irish parliamentarians, addressed in particular to the Coordinator of the Parliamentary Friendship Group of Ireland with Cuba, Deputy Thomas Pringle and the members who make up the latter.

On the eve of the United Nations General Assembly's vote on the draft resolution against the US  blockade against  Cuba, which must be carried out today, the Irish solidarity demanded its lifting in a demonstration held on the iconic Dublin bridge, "Ha'penny Bridge". Personalities from the Solidarity movement, including the Irish MEP from the left group, Clare Daly, reiterated their solidarity with Cuba and called on the world to express their support for the project against the blockade, which has been approved year after year by an overwhelming majority.

Dublin, October 18, 2023. A delegation made up of members of the Cuba Solidarity Forum of the Siptu, visited today the headquarters of the Cuban Diplomatic Mission in Dublin, where they were received by the Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández.
