Cuban Minister of Education highlights achievements and challenges of education at the World Education Forum 2025 in London

The Cuban Minister of Education, Dr. Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, participated in the Education 2025 World Forum (EWF), held from 18 to 21 May at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in London, United Kingdom. The event brought together 122 ministers from 124 countries, making it the largest annual gathering of global education leaders.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Saint Kitts and Nevis and the Permanent Secretary of Education of the Federation held a meeting.

On the morning of this Friday, at the headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Basseterre, the Head of the diplomatic mission, David Rivero Pérez, and the Permanent Secretary of Education, Lisa Pistana met to review issues of common interest.

Saint Catherine, May 19, 2022. Yesterday morning, a representation of the Cuban State Mission in Jamaica attended the Health Fair organized by the "José Martí" Technical High School, in Spanish Town. The event aimed to bring medical care closer to students and teachers of the teaching facility, built and donated by Cuba to the people of Jamaica in the 1970s.

The Cuban Ambassador to Saint Kitts and Nevis, David Rivero Pérez, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Education, Youth, Sports and Culture of this country, Honorable Jonel Powell.The positive meeting made it possible to confirm the good state of fundamental cooperation in the field of Education, evidenced by the mutual interest in continuing to strengthen and expand the traditional bond, through the development of other areas of work.

During the Cuba Day at the Oxbridge Academy school in Azerbaijan, a conversation was held on the geography, nature, history and culture of the Island between Azeri students and the Cuban ambassador to this Caucasian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo.

The diplomat talked pleasantly with students of different courses, toured the facilities of the center and held a meeting with the director of the school institution, Naila Rzaeva, in which they planned to maintain the exchange.

Ulaanbaatar. June 22, 2017. His Excellency, Mr Gelegpil Chuluunbaatar, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Mongolia, signed an agreement on Mutual Recognition of Programs of Studies, Diplomas and Degrees in Higher Education between Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba. On the Cuban side, the Agreement was signed by Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción, who emphasized in his words that this agreement will allow young Mongolian graduates in Cuba to validate their academic qualifications automatically upon their return to Mongolia to begin their professional life.
