Cuban Ambassador Attends Activity with Thai Export Companies

The Cuban Ambassador to Thailand, Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez attended the annual awards ceremony for the best Thai export companies, invited by the Minister of Commerce of Thailand, and with the presence of the Prime Minister, Srettha Thavisin.

The Ambassador spoke with Sanan Angubolkul, president of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC), with whom he agreed to evaluate possibilities for cooperation and signing agreements.

Regional Director of Pacific Cigar in Thailand Meet Cuban Ambassador

Mr. Joe P. Thawilvejjakul, Regional Director of Pacific Cigar, a company that distributes and markets Cuban cigars in Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar, received the Cuban ambassador in Thailand Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez.
 
During the meeting, which included a visit to the Cohiba Atmosphere in Bangkok, ideas were exchanged with beneficial commercial perspectives for Cuba and Thailand.
 

Havana Trade Fair FIHAV 2023 Opens Up in Cuba

The 39th edition of the Havana International Fair, FIHAV 2023, opens activities on Monday, a space for participation and exchange among exhibitors, entrepreneurs, and professionals from Cuba and abroad.
 
Considered the leading trade fair in Cuba and the Caribbean, the event will be held at EXPOCUBA fairgrounds until November 11 and is a meeting point for all sectors of Cuban economy.

Majority Rejection of the Blockade Against Cuba in the UN General Assembly

The resolution presented by Cuba to request the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States was approved this Thursday by the General Assembly with 187 votes in favor.

The text received two votes against (the United States and Israel) and one member state abstained (Ukraine).

The resolution recognizes the blockade as the central element of United States policy towards Cuba for more than six decades.

Cuba and Thailand Agree on Strengthening Bilateral Ties

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, and the Permanent Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Busadee Santipitaks, chaired this Friday the Second Round of Political Consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.

During the exchange, the good state of bilateral relations was confirmed in the year of the 65th anniversary of their establishment and the will of both parties to continue consolidating dialogue and diversify cooperation in areas of common interest was ratified.
