65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution in Thailand

The Cuban Ambassador Mr. Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez offered a simple reception on the occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution. The activity was attended by Chettapham Maksamphan, Director General of the Department of America and South Pacific, along with other directors and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.

Cuban Vice-President Arrives in Uganda for the NAM Summit

 Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdés arrived in Uganda to attend the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and the Third South Summit of the Group of 77+ China.

 

Salvador Valdés said on the social network X that it is an honor to represent the Caribbean nation in both events and noted that in the second of them the island will hand over to Uganda the pro tempore presidency of the G77.

Cuban Ambassador Signs Book of Condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Thailand

Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge Rodríguez signed the Book of Condolences at the Iranian Embassy in Thailand, condemning the terrorist attack perpetrated during the ceremony for the 4th anniversary of the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani.
The ambassador conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims, on behalf of the Cuban government and people, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

Cuba Demands for an Immediate End to Israeli Genocide in Gaza

Cuba maintains its position in favor of peace in the Middle East and the rejection of the permanent complicity of the United States in the genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinian inhabitants in the Gaza Strip.

Speaking at the UNGA on Tuesday, First Deputy Foreign Minister Gerardo Peñalver rejected Washington’s support for its main ally in the Middle East and considered the ceasefire as a priority to stop Israel’s genocide.

International Conference of the Society for Chinese Diaspora Studies

In the context of the "International Conference of the Society for Chinese Diaspora Studies", Ambassador Pedro Pablo San Jorge accompanied representatives of the United States publisher Pathfinder in the presentation of the book "Our story is still being written"

The book tells about the participation of the Cuban generals of Chinese descent Armando Choy, Gustavo Chui and Moisés Sío Wong in the clandestine struggle and the revolutionary war that overthrew the Batista dictatorship and gave way to the triumph of the Cuban Revolution.
