We, the Heads of State and Government of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Republic of Cuba, gathered via videoconference on 8 December, 2020, on the occasion of the 7th CARICOM-Cuba Summit held in commemoration of the 48th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the four CARICOM independent States and Cuba and the 18th anniversary of CARICOM-Cuba Day;

Havana, December 7, 2020.- The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro, and the President, Miguel Díaz-Canel, sent a congratulatory message to the people of Venezuela and its President for the victory in the legislative elections.

On behalf of the Cuban people, the Party, and the Government, we congratulate the Great Patriotic Pole, the PSUV, and the Bolivarian and Chavista people for the legislative elections' victory.

H.E. Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, met with the Cuban ambassador Héctor Conde Almeida.

The Cuban diplomat presented Cuba’s Report on Resolution 74/7 of the United Nations General Assembly entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”, and thanked the People and the Government of the Kingdom of Thailand for the continued support to the said UN Resolution.
