Cuba, one of NAM founding and active members
Baku, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuba has registered an active performance in the work and history of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), whose 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government will take place in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.
The NAM summit will be held on October 25 and 26, to which Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel will participate.
Baku, located on the western coast of Caspian Sea, will host the meeting that will bring together representatives from 120 member countries. Other nations and international organizations will attend as observers.

Cuban VP to visit Asian countries
Roberto Morales Ojeda, vice president of the Council of Ministers, will begin today a tour of several countries in Asia, including his participation in the enthronement ceremony of the new Emperor of Japan, and official visits to Singapore and Pakistan.
The Cuban delegation is also made up by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cuban ambassadors in those countries, Granma newspaper reports today.
Diaz-Canel's visit to Mexico shows advances in bilateral relations
Mexico, Oct 17 (Prensa Latina) The official visit to Mexico by Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel is today perceived here as a clear demonstration of the mutual will to move forward in the bilateral relationship.
This was reiterated by both the Cuban head of state and his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel Lopez Obrador, who were announced to hold a meeting at the National Palace after noon.
