Thailand and Cuba strengthen cooperation in multilateral forums
BANGKOK, October 28, 2019.- H.E. Cuban president congratulates Evo Morales for his re-election
Havana, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel this Tuesday congratulated his Bolivian counterpart, Evo Morales, for being re-elected on Sunday.
On Twitter, the Cuban president stressed that the election win of Evo Morales and the Movement for Socialism (MAS) is a victory for Latin America, as well as for 'the Plurinational Bolivia and its work of broad, deep and progressive social justice.'
Diaz-Canel noted that Evo Morales won for the fourth time in the history of the Bolivian elections, despite the media war by the continental right.
Cuba, one of NAM founding and active members
Baku, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuba has registered an active performance in the work and history of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), whose 18th Summit of Heads of State and Government will take place in Baku, capital of Azerbaijan.
The NAM summit will be held on October 25 and 26, to which Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel will participate.
Baku, located on the western coast of Caspian Sea, will host the meeting that will bring together representatives from 120 member countries. Other nations and international organizations will attend as observers.
