EU interested in expanding cooperation with Cuba
Havana, Sep 10 (Prensa Latina) After a long working day in Havana to look into expanding cooperation, the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, was welcomed by Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel.
The two high-ranking dignitaries discussed late on Monday the completion of the 2nd Cuba-EU Joint Council and the implementation of the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement.
Cuba Denounces Tightening of US Blockade at UN
United Nations, Sep 10 (Prensa Latina) The United States blockade against Cuba is the most unjust, severe and prolonged system of unilateral sanctions applied against any country, denounced the Cuban Mission to the United Nations this Tuesday.
In a statement, the Cuban diplomatic mission stressed that the blockade is the main obstacle to the development of the Caribbean country, as well as to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.
Thailand and Cuba strengthen economic and cooperation relations

BANGKOK, August 29, 2019.- The new Deputy Director General of the Department of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, Mr. RongVudhi Virabutr, hosted a meeting with the Cuban ambassador, Héctor Conde Almeida, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At the meeting, the parties recognized with satisfaction the ascending path of bilateral relations and reiterated the mutual will to continue expanding ties of cooperation and friendship between both peoples and nations.
