Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago

The popular referendum of the Family Code in Trinidad and Tobago concludes.

Port of Spain, September 18, 2022. The President of the table of the Electoral College No.1 of the 30th Circumscription in Trinidad and Tobago, declared the closing of the voting after having exercised the vote its last voter at 10:40 am on the day from today. In the presence of witnesses, the ballot box was opened to carry out the counting of the ballots.

The popular electoral exercise carried out today demonstrates the existence of a more democratic Code in which affection, solidarity, responsibility and respect prevail.

The popular vote for the Family Code begins in Trinidad and Tobago.

Port of Spain, September 18, 2022. With the intonation of the notes of our National Anthem, the authorities of the School No.1 of the Circumscription No.30 of Trinidad and Tobago made official the constitution of the electoral table to carry out the suffrage by the Family Code.

Cuba has the right to live without a blockade.

Next November 2nd and 3rd, the United Nations General Assembly will once again take into consideration the draft resolution calling for an end to the U.S. blockade against Cuba.

The U.S. government persists in ignoring the demands of the international community, and has intensified the blockade to unprecedented levels.

The audiovisual made with phrases, images, as well as anecdotes and evaluations extracted from the publication "I met Fidel" by the Cuban journalist Wilmer Rodríguez, allowed us to get closer to the depth of his historical, political, and revolutionary thought and to learn even more about his personality.
