July 26th is celebrated in Türkiye
The Cuban Embassy in Turkey and the Cuba-Turkey Solidarity Association "José Martí" held a political-cultural activity at the Nazim Hikmet Cultural Center in Ankara to commemorate the 69th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada Barracks in Santiago de Cuba and the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks in Bayamo.
Head of the Supreme Court of Justice in Turkey receives Cuban Ambassador
The Cuban Ambassador to Turkey. Dr. Alejandro Díaz Palacios was received by Mr. Mehmet Akarca, Head of the Supreme Court of Justice in this country. The Ambassador gave an update on the process of economic reorganization that our country is undergoing.
In the dialogue, both parties agreed on the excellent friendly relations that unite the two countries and the broad future prospects for cooperation and exchange.
Cuban Ambassador to Türkiye holds meeting with the General Prosecutor of the Supreme Court
The Dr. Alejandro Diaz Palacios, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Türkiye, paid a working visit to Mr. Bekir Şahin, Chief Public Prosecutor of the Supreme Court, who received him in his office. During the meeting, the Ambassador received a detailed explanation about the functions of the General Prosecutor's Office and exchanged views. The state of relations between the two countries was also discussed and current issues were exchanged. The exchange took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.
Keynote lecture at the University of Havana on Türkiye history and culture
The professor Mehmet Necati Kutlu, Director of the Center for Latin American Studies of Ankara University, gave a lecture on "Türkiye and the Turks, from the past to the present" at the University of Havana.
The academic activity addressed relevant aspects about the proclamation of the Republic of Turkey and the figure of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his history, personality and values.
