The Chargé d'Affaires A.I. of the Cuban Embassy in Turkey, Luis Javier Cabañas Álvarez, commemorated the 70th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks together with delegations of Cuban artists who are on official mission in the Turkish city of Antalya.

The Cuban diplomatic mission in Turkey, in coordination with the José Martí Friendship Association, held a political-cultural activity to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks. Cuban diplomat Luis Javier Cabañas spoke at the event and took the opportunity to condemn the US blockade against Cuba and its current intensification, which the participants joined in condemning.

The Cuban Ambassador to Türkiye held a friendly meeting with Cansu Oba, member of the TKP Central Committee and Nahide Özkan, president of the José Martí Cuba Friendship Association. They reviewed the state of bilateral relations and discussed issues of common interest.
Renewed opportunities between Cuban and Turkish businessmen
The member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister, Manuel Marrero Cruz, presided over a meeting with a group of Turkish businessmen, as part of his visit to that country.
The meeting was a continuation of the one held last November by the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
