The Cuban Ambassador received on a working visit His Excellency Mr. Erdoğan Kök, Ambassador and Special Advisor for EXPO 2023 to be held in the city of Kahramanmaraş, who encouraged Cuban businessmen to attend the exhibition. Both ambassadors also discussed the state of bilateral economic relations and their potential for development.

A group of friends of the Cuba-Turkey José Martí Friendship Association met in the Turkish city of Antalya to commemorate the events of July 26, 1953 in Cuba. On this occasion, art was the pretext to remember the courage of those young Cubans led by Fidel Castro who confronted tyranny with a desire for justice.
