Delegation of the Cuban Communist Party participates in the Presidential Ceremony Inauguration in Rwanda.
Kigali. On August 11, a delegation headed by the member of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party and Minister of Health, José Ángel Portal Miranda, attended the Presidential Inauguration in response to an invitation received from the ruling party, the Rwandan Patriotic Front.
Together with more than 30 African delegations and China, the Cuban delegation enjoyed a colorful ceremony attended by more than 45 thousand peoples.
Cuban Ambassador meets with Cuban health workers in Rwanda.
Kigali. On the morning of June 6, Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques met with Cuban health workers who will begin their work in the sister nation of Rwanda.
The Cuban diplomat shared the significance that the previous Cuban cooperation supported by the South African government had for the Rwandan people, and the commitment that this new brigade entails is arriving at a new historic moment in which the Rwandan government is working on an ambitious program to improve health services.
Ambassador of Cuba visits to Rwandan Minister of Education
Kigali. On the afternoon on June 6, the Honourable Gaspard Twagirayezu, Minister of Education of Rwanda, received the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques, at the headquarters of that institution.
During the meeting, the Head of education of Rwanda explained to the Cuban diplomat the ambitious program of improvement and strengthening of the education services in the country.
Both sides agreed that governments that give priority to educational services, as a strategic step to boost economic and social development, obtain favourable results.
Cuban Ambassador pays a new visit to the Rwandan Parliament.
Kigali. On the morning of June 6, Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques paid a new visit to the Rwandan Parliament where she met with the Honorable Nyirasafari Esperance, Vice President of the Senate for Parliamentary Affairs.
On this occasion, actions were evaluated to continue strengthening bilateral relations between the legislative bodies of Rwanda and Cuba, in accordance with the political decision of both governments to promote bilateral cooperation.
Cuba and Rwanda will celebrate the 45th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations on September 9, 2024.

Kigali. On the morning of June 5, the Honorable Consolee Uwimana and the Honorable Wellars Gasamegera, vice president and general secretary of the Rwandan Patriotic Front, respectively, received the Cuban Ambassador Tania Perez Xiques at the headquarters of the ruling party.
Following the recent visit to Cuba of the delegation headed by the vice president of that political organization and the signing of a Cooperation Agreement, both parties evaluated the course of action for the conduct of exchanges and cooperation between both governing parties.
