Cuba condemns constant US violations as the Host Country of the United Nations
New York, 25 February 2020. Ambassador Oscar León González, Chargé d´Affaires a.i. of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations participated today in the session of the Committee on Relations with the Host Country of the United Nations. He stated that there is no legal basis for the restrictions and prohibitions imposed by the United States on the access to the United Nations and the participation of representatives of official delegations of Member States in the meetings of this Organization, including Cuba.
Cuba reaffirms its call for democratization and expansion of the United Nations Security Council
New York, 13 February 2020. Cuba made a statement on the intergovernmental negotiations regarding equitable representation and the increase of the Security Council´s membership, at the 74th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
