The Group of 77 and China joins the worldwide call for the elimination of all unilateral coercive measures against developing countries

The Group of 77 and China publicly stated its position regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and expressed its solidarity with all affected countries as they struggle to mitigate its effects. It also expressed its support and admiration for all healthcare professionals and medical researchers who serve on the front lines in the battle against the disease.

The Non-Aligned Movement calls for the lifting of all unilateral coercive measures, as a way to mitigate the COVID-19 pandemic
New York, 27 March 2020. In a communiqué issued on 26 March, the Coordinating Bureau of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), called for solidarity and cooperation among States, recognizing that is the only way for detaining coronavirus and defeat this pandemic. In this regard, it called for setting aside all political ideologies and discrimination for the sake of all humankind.
