UN Deputy Secretary-General acknowledges solidarity support of Cuba in the fight against COVID-19
New York, May 7, 2020. On 1 May, during a Virtual Briefing of the Alliance of Small Island Developing States, while reviewing the effects of COVID-19 and global actions for combating it, Amina J. Mohammed, the UN Deputy Secretary-General, acknowledged and praised Cuba for the valuable support provided by our doctors in the global fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
