UN members, experts and academics prove negative impact of unilateral coercive measures on developing countries
New York, 2 June 2020. Cuba participated today in the Webinar on “The Impact of Unilateral Coercive Measures (UCMs) on the Global Fight Against the COVID-19: Upholding the UN Charter, Promoting International Cooperation and Ensuring No One is Left Behind in Times of Pandemic”. The event was chaired by María Fernanda Espinosa, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador and President of the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations; and it was sponsored by the permanent missions of Belarus, China, Iran, Nicaragua, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, Zimbabwe and Cuba.
