Today, ALBA-TCP to hold the 20th Political Council and the 10th Economic Council
Havana, 28 June 2020. The 20th Political Council and the 10th Economic Council of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America – Peoples´ Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP, by its Spanish initials) will be held on 29 June. The joint meeting is the result of an agreement adopted during the High-Level Conference on Economy, Finance and Trade in the Framework of COVID-19, held on 10 June 2020.

UNESCO recognizes Cuba's leadership in education
Havana, June 25, 2020. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has recognized the results of Cuba's work to achieve quality, inclusive education in the 2020 Global Monitoring Report on Education for All -known as the GEM report.
This global monitoring mechanism is used to evaluate progress on Sustainable Development Goal (SDA) No. 4: Ensure inclusive, equitable, quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
