Cuba in UN

Cuba shares health care system experience at a United Nations event on South-South Cooperation.

New York, November 27, 2018. The Director of International Relations of the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba (MINSAP, Spanish abbreviation), Dr. Néstor Marimón, attended as a panelist, the event organized by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) on the role of South-South Cooperation in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals for children. The event took place within the framework of the Global South-South Development Expo (GSSD Expo) which is held at the United Nations between November 28 and 30.

Allow me first of all to sincerely thank you, on behalf of the Permanent Mission of Cuba and the Cuban people, for your presence on this occasion to honor the memory of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz. 

The Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations pays tribute to Fidel, undisputed revolutionary leader of universal stature.

New York, November 21, 2018. The Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations paid tribute this evening to the immortal figure of Fidel Castro Ruz, Historical Leader of the Cuban Revolution, who died on November 25, 2016, at age 90. It was a simple but profound and full of love ceremony attended also by members of the solidarity movement with Cuba in this city.
