Mr. President,
The Twitter technology platform started a few years before the UPR and has doubled the number of characters. The Human Rights Council should consider how to extend the time for Member States to speak out.
We thank those who have participated in this dialogue and made recommendations, based on respect for the principles of sovereignty and non-interference in internal affairs.
Statement by the Revolutionary Government: Cuba condemns fresh attacks by Israel against the Palestinian people.
Havana, May 15, 2018.The Revolutionary Government of the Republic of Cuba vehemently condemns the criminal attack on the defenseless Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, by the Israeli Army which has killed at least 52 people and left over 2,400 injured.
This act constitutes another serious and flagrant violation of the UN Charter and international humanitarian law, and a new outrage against the Palestinian people.

Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba:Cuba condemns U.S. withdrawal from nuclear agreement with Iran.
La Habana, May 9, 2018.The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba expresses its strong condemnation of the decision made by the United States government to withdraw from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or Iran nuclear agreement, and re-impose sanctions on this country. Failure to abide by these international commitments undermines the norms of coexistence among states and can have serious consequences for stability and security in the Middle East.
