Declaration of Ministry of Foreign Relations: Cuba condemns all terrorist acts, methods, and practices.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba condemns the terrorist attack perpetrated in Esmeraldas, Ecuador, and expresses its solidarity with the government of this sister country and its people.
The Ministry of Foreign Relations of the Republic of Cuba wishes the victims of these acts a rapid recovery and reiterates our firm rejection and condemnation of all terrorist acts, methods, and practices, in all forms and expressions, regardless of their motivation.

Ambassador Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, deposited today the Instrument of Ratification of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons on behalf of the Republic of Cuba, in a ceremony held at the UN headquarters in New York. This action shows Cuba´s commitment to the promotion of nuclear disarmament, to which it gives the highest priority in the field of disarmament. Cuba has been the fifth country to ratify the Treaty.
