In this case "The Irish in Latin America", by the Republic of Ireland, will be on display until 2 March. This touring exhibition illustrates the fascinating story of adventurers, soldiers, missionaries and simple Irish immigrants who shaped the culture and politics of Latin America.

New York, 23 February 2018. At the first meeting of the year 2018, held on 22 February, the Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, was re-elected as Vice-Chairperson of the "Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the Implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence to Colonial Countries and Peoples", known as the United Nations Decolonization Committee.

New York, February 22, 2018. The Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, had a brief meeting on February 20 with Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine and of the Palestinian National Authority, who traveled to New York to participate in the Security Council briefing on the situation in the Middle East, including the Palestinian question.
