Press Release: Cuba upholds its commitment to nuclear disarmament and deposits the Instrument of Ratification of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

New York, 30 January 2018. Ambassador Anayansi Rodriguez Camejo, Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, deposited today the Instrument of Ratification of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons on behalf of the Republic of Cuba, in a ceremony held at the UN headquarters in New York. This action shows Cuba´s commitment to the promotion of nuclear disarmament, to which it gives the highest priority in the field of disarmament. Cuba has been the fifth country to ratify the Treaty.

New York, 25 January 2018. The Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, participated in the segment dedicated to the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) at the first session of the Executive Board of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS). 

Press Release: Permanent Representative of Cuba to UN holds a meeting with the Secretary-General.

New York, 24 January 2018. The Permanent Representative of Cuba to the United Nations, Ambassador Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, held a working meeting with the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Mr. António Guterres.

The meeting focused on the upcoming thirty-seventh session of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), to be held in May 2018 in Havana. Various topics of international interest and multilateral scope were also addressed in a cordial and cooperative atmosphere.
