Ambassadors of GRULAC meet with Direction of IRENA
The Group of Ambassadors of Latin America and the Caribbean accredited in the United Arab Emirates, we held a fruitful meeting of joint work with the Director General of IRENA, Francesco La Camera, in the international organization headquarters in Abu Dhabi, where the maximum directive made a presentation on the general objectives to work for the development of cooperation with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.
In addition, Mr. Gurbuz Gonul, Director Division of Support to Countries and Alliances (CSP), offered a presentation with interesting information.
Cuba and the Emirates strengthening collaboration links
Mr. Khalifa Alqubaisi, Deputy Director General of Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), received Ambassador Jorge León Cruz, who delivered a letter from Antonio Rodríguez Rodríguez, President of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources and member of the Executive Committee of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, addressed to SE Mohammed Saif Al Suwaiti, General Director of ADFD, for a visit to Cuba.

Cuba and the United Arab Emirates sign memorandum for visa waiver
Cuba and the United Arab Emirates signed a memorandum of understanding on the mutual exemption of the visa requirement between both countries on Monday at the Cuban Foreign Ministry headquarters in Havana. The beneficiaries of the visa exemption are for Cuban citizens holding diplomatic, official and service passports.
