60 years of Cuban medical collaboration in the world are remembered

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today recognized the work carried out by the health personnel of this Antillean nation around the world, on the 60th anniversary of that solidarity collaboration.

In his Twitter profile, the president highlighted the pride of having a dedicated force of health workers who have been saving lives for six decades, and sent a warm embrace to the protagonists of that noble feat, especially to the 22,000 collaborators who today carry out their mission in 58 countries.

Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C. pays tribute to José Martí

With the interpretation of the Versos Sencillos by the youngest children, the Cuban Embassy in Washington D.C. paid tribute to the National Hero José Martí.

On the 128th anniversary of his fall in combat, the Cuban diplomats remarked the validity of the Apostle's ideas in the new generations. They also reiterated their commitment to Martí's ideal and to continue with the historical legacy of the most universal of all Cubans.

Unfinished letter of José Martí is remembered in Cuba

The anti-annexionist purposes and in favor of Latin American unity of Cuba's National Hero, José Martí, are still valid today, 128 years after he wrote an unfinished letter to his friend Manuel Mercado.

The document, dated May 18, 1895 in the middle of the war scenario in eastern Cuba, defines the principles and objectives of the struggle for independence, which began again on February 24 of that year.
