Cubans and Canadians fill container in tsunami against the blockade
The Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cubans living in Toronto and Canadian associations filled a container with medical supplies for the island, an initiative framed today in the campaign of the Europe for Cuba channel "World Tsunami against the blockade".
The channel released on social networks a video-message made the day before, after the end of the solidarity work, in which the organizations Not Just Tourist and the Cuba-Canada Friendship Association participated.

Cuban Foreign Minister reiterates condemnation of U.S. blockade
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez reiterated today his condemnation of the blockade imposed by the United States with the aim of subverting the revolutionary process on the island.
In his Twitter profile, the top representative of Cuban diplomacy affirmed that such inhumane policy of maximum pressure and economic asphyxiation, implemented 63 years ago, ignores the universal clamor for a Cuba without blockade.
Cuban Embassy in the U.S. entertained pioneers and young people
Among poems, songs and children's games, the Embassy of Cuba in the United States entertained the youngest members of the collective; on the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of the José Martí Pioneers Organization and the 61st anniversary of the Young Communist League.
During the festivity, the young people reiterated their commitment to continue fighting to preserve the achievements of the Revolution.
As part of the celebration, #TeamAsere t-shirts were given to the youngest members of the collective.
Cuba congratulates its youth on the anniversaries of their organizations
Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel congratulated today the members of the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM) and the Young Communist League (UJC) on the occasion of their 62nd and 61st anniversaries, respectively.
In his Twitter profile, the Cuban leader defined these militants as hope and future of the nation. "We come from the @OPJMCuba and the @UJCdeCuba and we feel part of you," he said.
Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez and other leaders of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) and the Government also congratulated the pioneers and young Cubans on their day.
