University of Havana holds seminar for the study of the Helms-Burton Law
Havana. - The First International Seminar "Legal Implications of the Helms-Burton Law in the North American legal system and its impact in the light of international law" began its sessions at the University of Havana. In an inaugural conference, the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Doctor of Science Carlos Fernández de Cossío, highlighted, first of all, the imprint of Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada in the constant study of this instrument in the country.

Today, the government of the United States announced several measures, which are positive but of a very limited scope, regarding Cuba associated to the granting of visas, regular migration, flights to Cuban provinces, remittances and adjustments to the regulations governing transactions with the non-state sector.
Nachito Herrera: in the midst of sadness, Cuba is not alone
The prominent Cuban musician Ignacio "Nachito" Herrera traveled to the island from Minnesota, United States, where he has lived for more than 20 years, to open the 2022 edition of the Cubadisco Fair, however, his first words to the press are not about music :
"I must honestly say that, although you know that I live quite far away, in a very cold state, in Minnesota, we have been able to follow all the news, we are happy to return home, but also saddened by what has happened with the Hotel Saratoga ".
