Bridges of Love and Code Pink to Cuba with solidarity aid.

A donation of five thousand pounds of powdered milk travels today to Cuba bound for pediatric hospitals in the provinces of Villa Clara, Cienfuegos and Sancti Spíritus, informed activist Carlos Lazo.

The coordinator of the Bridges of Love Movement said that during three days they will distribute the cargo, which also includes some 100,000 tablets of painkillers, bread-making machines for children's homes in the aforementioned provinces and materials needed for a home for the elderly in Cienfuegos, among other supplies.

Cuba's Mission to the U.S. celebrates the 63rd anniversary of the FMC.

The Cuban Mission in the United States celebrated today the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Cuban Women (FMC), an organization with more than four million members.

During a ceremony at the headquarters of the diplomatic representation of Havana in this capital, in which officials and their families participated, the eternal president of the FMC, Vilma Espín, was remembered.

Elia Moreno, one of the relatives, who contributed with her experience, and Pilar González, a young diplomat, who spoke on behalf of the new generations, agreed.

The Federation of Cuban Women (FMC) celebrates today 63 years of its foundation focused on the development of policies to achieve the full exercise of equality of women in all spheres of society.

With recreational and cultural actions from all communities, the Federation celebrates this new anniversary, and among the essential activities is the XI Congress of the organization, whose balances in delegations and blocks throughout the national territory are still being developed.

President of Cuba arrives in South Africa today.

The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, will arrive today in South Africa to participate in the 15th Brics Summit, to be held in Johannesburg until the 24th, in his capacity as current president of the G77 and China.

The official intervention of the Cuban leader will take place, according to the program, on the 24th at the Brics Plus Dialogue, which, together with the Brics Africa Outreach, includes nations from the Global South and the African continent.
