Vietnam leaders congratulate Cuba on the anniversary of diplomatic relations
Top leaders of Vietnam sent messages of congratulations to their Cuban counterparts and to the people of the island on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
General secretary of the Communist Party and president of Vietnam, Nguyen Phu Trong, conveyed his congratulations to the first secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba, Raúl Castro, and to the president of the Caribbean nation, Miguel Díaz-Canel.
Top leaders from Cuba and Vietnam talked by phone on occasion of 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Cuba and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, this December 2nd, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and General Secretary of the Communist Party and President of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong held a fraternal telephone conversation.
Joint collection of Vietnam-Cuba postage stamps issued
Ministry of Information and Communication of Vietnam, in coordination with the Cuban Embassy in Hanoi, launched a joint collection of Vietnam-Cuba postage stamps, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between both nations.
The set includes two models of stamps, designed by the painter To Minh Trang of the Vietnam Post Corporation, and Roberto Menéndez Roiz of Correos de Cuba, and represent the Castle of Santo Domingo de Atarés (Cuba) and the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long (Vietnam).
Cuba and Vietnam celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations in Hanoi
Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Pham Binh Minh, declared that Cuba is an important and reliable partner of the Indochinese nation, by intervening in an act to celebrate 60 years of bilateral diplomatic relations.
Chancellor stated that both countries have built a close friendship, comprehensive and deep cooperation relationship between the two Parties, Governments and Parliaments, as well as at all local and central levels, and between socio-political organizations and associations.
