Zimbabwe thanks Cuba for cooperation in the education sector
In the context of the Africa´s Day, the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. from the Embassy of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Counsellor Yoisy Ford García in the company of Mr. Lovemore Gwati, member of the Zimbabwe-Cuba Friendship Association, paid a visit to the University of Scientific Education of Bindura. The Cuban representative was received by the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Eddie Mwenje and other members of the institution's management.

The Zimbabwean weekly paper "The Sunday Mail" highlights Cuba's role in the formation of human capital in Zimbabwe. This project has been carried out through Cooperation in the Education sector and as part of the National Development Strategy carried out by the Southern country.
The Sunday Mail highlighted the good state of relations between the two countries and mutual support in the international arena. Zimbabwe has stood firm alongside Cuba in the fight against the blockade and in the same manner the Caribbean Island rejects Western sanctions against Zimbabwe.

The senator and patron of the Parliamentary Group of Solidarity with Cuba, Hon. Chen Chimutengwende, attended the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Harare to sign the book of condolences for the physical disappearance of comrade Ricardo Alarcón de Quesada.
Chen Chimutengwende conveyed condolences on behalf of the Parliament and the Government of his country. He evoked in his message the unforgettable moments of exchange with the Cuban politician, who will always be remembered for his valuable support for Pan-Africanist solidarity.
