Cuban Chief of Mission pays courtesy visit to Dean of the African Methodist Episcopal University in Monrovia

Monrovia, November 26, 2020 - This morning, the Cuban Head of Mission in Monrovia, Mercedes L. Martinez Herrera, paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of the African Methodist Episcopal University of Liberia, Professor Augustine Konneh, who was also Director General of the Foreign Service Institute of Liberia.

During the meeting, both parties ratified their willingness to work towards strengthening bilateral relations in the field of education.

The Liberian academic highlighted Cuba's achievements in the fields of education and health, despite the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States, which has been tightened in these times of pandemic.
