Monrovia, October 15, 2024 - In the afternoon, the Head of Mission Mercedes Martinez Herrera was received at the headquarters of the Liberian Foreign Ministry by the Deputy Minister for Multilateral Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Nyei, who serves as acting Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, they exchanged on various issues of mutual interest and highlighted the cooperation that both chancelleries maintain in the multilateral sphere.
In a fraternal atmosphere, both parties confirmed the good state of diplomatic ties.
The Cuban diplomat also reiterated Cuba's commitment to continue supporting, to the extent of its possibilities, the Liberian government and people in their social development projects, particularly the training of young professionals and the strengthening of the health system.
The occasion was propitious for an exchange on the international political scenario.
