Monrovia, November 21, 2020 - On the fourth anniversary of the physical disappearance of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Commander Fidel Castro, Liberian friends and professionals trained in Cuba paid tribute to him in remembrance to which they are eternally grateful for having given them the opportunity to become good men.
Mr. Kesselee King Kanneh, president of the Liberia-Cuba Friendship Association, recalled the legacy of the Commander in Chief and the validity of his thinking in the midst of the complex processes that the world is currently experiencing. He expressed his gratitude because thanks to Fidel and the training he received in Cuba he has been able to serve his country with a great level of humanity, and he is a professional committed to his people. He indicated that the graduates in Cuba are today the mirror of what the Cuban Revolution does for the most humble people in the world.
Carrying pictures with images of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro, Liberian friends expressed that they were paying homage to the leader of the Cuban Revolution, for the solidarity he always had with the countries of Africa. They indicated that they are grateful to the people and government of Cuba for all that they have done in favor of the training of Liberian human resources.
