President of Cuba participates in parliamentary committee debates.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel participates in the debates of the Permanent Working Commissions (CPT) of the National Assembly of People's Power (ANPP, parliament) scheduled for today and tomorrow in this capital.

Some 11 CTPs of the ANPP will analyze in the Convention Palace more than 90 topics of interest to the citizens, after an intense stage of tours and exchange with labor collectives.

Cuban President sends message to high-level meeting in China.

Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel sent a message to the second high-level meeting of the Forum on Global Action for Shared Development, which is being held in China, the Cuban Foreign Ministry informed today.

At the opening of the event, a video message from the President was presented, in which he calls for promoting development as the central axis of the system of international relations, to coordinate efficient cooperation to reduce inequality gaps and to advance in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

Díaz-Canel denounces persistent U.S. hostility against Cuba.

Cuba's President Miguel Díaz-Canel today denounced the persistent hostility of the United States against his country, a nation he described as truly independent, peaceful and supportive.

"The anti-Cuban machinery is determined to bring the Cuba issue to the U.S. electoral campaign, taking advantage of the corruption and lies of the process," the president said in his official account on X.

Worldwide rejection of Cuba's inclusion in the U.S. list grows.

Almost fifty governments of the world have rejected as of today the inclusion of Cuba in the State Department's list of countries that sponsor terrorism, informed the Foreign Ministry of this Antillean nation.

To the claim are added the repudiation pronouncements of movements, organizations, institutions, activists and international personalities, who qualify that designation as unjust and arbitrary, and denounce its consequences on the Cuban nation and families.

Cuban delegations to the Olympic and Paralympic Games were flagged to the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The delegations that will represent Cuba at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games were flag bearers today in this capital in a ceremony held at the Plaza de la Revolución.

At the base of the monument to National Hero José Martí, four-time Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling Mijaín López, escorted by archer Hugo Franco and swimmer Andrea Becali, received the national ensign from the hands of the President of the Republic, Miguel Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
