New rule in Cuba will contribute to regular and safe migration.

The new draft Migration Law, available today for Cuban citizens on the official website of the National Assembly of People's Power (parliament), will contribute to move towards a regular, orderly and safe migration.

This was stated by Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on the social network X, a platform where he highlighted the contributions of the regulatory provision to a migration that "contributes to the development of the nation, in accordance with our Constitution and the laws and international treaties on this matter".

U.S. calls for Cuba's exclusion from arbitrary terrorist list

Non-governmental and solidarity organizations in the United States reiterated their demand for the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries sponsoring terrorism, on which it arbitrarily remains today.  
The Interfaith Foundation for Community Organization IFCO-Pastors for Peace, the Cuba Sí Coalition of New York/New Jersey and the December 12th Movement agreed in recent public statements on the harm caused to the Cuban people by such a disposition in the midst of an intensified blockade.

Cuba reaffirms willingness to strengthen ties with Caribbean nations

The Cuban Foreign Ministry today hailed the 43rd anniversary of the creation of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and reaffirmed the will to continue strengthening cooperation ties.

On this date, the Cuban Foreign Ministry also expressed on the social network X its interest in consolidating ties of friendship with the peoples of the Caribbean.

The OECS is an international organization dedicated to economic harmonization and integration, protection of human and legal rights, stimulation of good governance between and within countries.

Cuba's Parliament publishes two new bills.

Cuba's National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) today made available to the population the draft laws on Foreigners and Migration, with the aim of promoting citizen participation and contributing to the legal culture.

To that end, the legislative body included in its official website the texts of both projects, as well as e-mails through which those interested may express their opinions and suggestions on these issues.

Cuba hosts OLADE experts meeting.

Cuba hosts today the LXI ordinary session of the Board of Experts of the Latin American Energy Organization (Olade) that will address issues on gender and energy, methane observatory, critical minerals and new generation fuels.

In a press release, the Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines (Minem) adds that during the meeting, until the 13th, regional gas integration will also be analyzed and new proposals will be presented for the LIV Meeting of Energy Ministers of Latin America and the Caribbean to be held in October in Paraguay.
