On a visit to Cincinnati, Ohio, from June 27th to 29th, the Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Washington DC, Sulia Paez Chacón attended the Annual Convention of the National Association of Newspaper Publishers (NNPA), where she exchanged with members of the leadership of this organization and she learned about the work that its publishers do. Within the framework of this event, the official attended presentations made by communicators, corporations linked to the NNPA as well as local and federal politicians. She could also realize the high esteem of its president, Dr. Benjamin F.

From June 3rd to 6th, 2019 Third Secretary of the Embassy of Cuba in Washington D.C., Yanet Pumariega Pérez visited the State of Michigan. The purpose of her visit and meetings were to discuss the potentialities of improving relations with the state of Michigan and to find mutually beneficial opportunities of cooperation in areas such as health, education, agriculture and trade.
