In a friendly talk, one that shows the excellent relations between the Jamaican and Cuban governments and peoples, both diplomats exchanged on various topics of common interest.

Jamaican Pan-Africanists condemn the escalation of the US blockade against Cuba

Kingston, Jamaica, 29 April 2019. Following the recent announcement by the US authorities about the entry into force of Title III of the Helms Burton Act and other measures aimed at intensifying the unjust and criminal blockade against Cuba, Mr. Imhotep Ashanti, Coordinator of the National Initiating Committee (NIC) of the Pan African Federalist Movement (PAFM) in Jamaica issued a statement expressing the movement's strong condemnation of these measures and the unconditional support for Cuba of the revolutionary Pan-Africanists.

Jamaican physician thanks Cuba for her training

Dr. Kamille Goulbourne-Anderson, who graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Santiago de Cuba, expressed her gratitude to Cuba for her professional training as a doctor.

During a meeting organized at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission with young Jamaicans interested in pursuing university studies in the Largest Island in the Greater Antilles, Dr. Kamille Goulbourne-Anderson, who graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Santiago de Cuba, expressed her gratitude to Cuba for her professional training as a doctor.
